During this commemorative year of 20 years of Brisas Health, we are thrilled to introduce Brisas Supportive, a new practice that reflects our ongoing commitment to compassionate and patient-centered healthcare. With Brisas Supportive, we aim to provide a renewed sense of freedom in healthcare, allowing everyone to access palliative care without the restrictions of any one specific healthcare plan.
The Freedom of Palliative Care without Barriers
At the core of Brisas Supportive is the idea that everyone deserves to receive quality palliative care, regardless of their healthcare plan. We have designed this service to provide support to those facing chronic illnesses such as:

Our 20 years of experience in healthcare have taught us the importance of empathy and commitment. With Brisas Supportive, we take that commitment to new heights, offering compassionate and high-quality care to those seeking palliative care without the traditional restrictions of medical plans.
What makes Brisas Supportive unique
Medical Services
These are offered with a minimum frequency of one visit per month and whenever necessary, depending on the criticality of the patient’s condition. Services include managing vitals, symptoms, and pain relief to enhance the patient’s quality of life.
Nurse Services
To evaluate and assess current vitals and symptoms, with a minimum frequency of one visit per week, up to two to three weekly visits, based on the patient’s condition and needs.
Social Services
Assesses psychosocial needs that affect or hinder the establishment of the patient care protocol, and then offers necessary support and resources. Minimum visits – one per month or as per the needs of the patient/caregiver.
Chaplain Services
Evaluates the spiritual needs of the patient and/or caregiver that affect the acceptance process of the patient’s health condition, in order to offer the necessary support. Minimum visits – one per month or according to the needs of the patient/caregiver.
Supportive Services according to your needs
Assistant
Offered as a support resource to the caregiver for help with the patient’s hygiene/bath. It is offered from 2 to 5 visits per week or as needed.
Housekeeper
Available as a support resource to the caregiver to help with chores and patient care such as bathroom assistance, cleaning the patient’s room, washing clothes, preparing meals for the patient, amongst others, according to need.
Speech therapy and physical therapy
Are offered when ordered by the doctor, for dealing with pain relief or other symptoms related to the terminal illness.
Nutritionist
By medical order according to the patient’s need.
Durable Medical Equipment
The durable medical equipment within the scope of coverage must be ordered by the physician and in accordance to the patient’s needs to relieve and manage his condition. Delivery will be prioritized according to the date it was ordered.
